Liz Rubino, will return to the NY cabaret stage for one more show at the well known establishment, Don't Tell Mama, in 'Make Yourself Comfortable' Saturday, April 8th @ 7:00 p.m.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDC Foundation), the not-for-profit foundation of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), hosted its star-studded 'Mr. Abbott' Award Gala honoring Kenny Leon at espace in New York City yesterday, March 27. Popular cabaret couple The Chamlins present Paul and Rochelle at the Movies, featuring beloved songs from films both familiar (Meet Me in St. Louis, Royal Wedding) and obscure (A Date With Judy, Agatha). Directed by the legendary Marilyn Maye with Tom Hubbard on bass and Daniel Glass on percussion.

Golden Stage Records has released 'These Are My Friends', a compilation of Broadway songs and reminiscences from some of the theater's greatest TONY award-winning artists.

MONDAY, JANUARY 23 at 7:00PM, the Tenants' Action Group (TAG) of 711 West End Avenue presents a special evening showcasing Upper West Side musical talent. All of the participating artists are present and former Upper West Side or 711 West End Avenue residents, who have collaborated to produce a program of repertoire with special meaning for their lives. The first half of the concert will feature classical selections performed by pianists Warren Jones, Margaret Kampmeier and Erika Nickrenz, cellist Sara Sant'Ambrogio, guitarist Andrew Schulman and former 711 West End Resident, flutist Eugenia Zukerman. The second half of the program is devoted to Broadway and cabaret with vocal selections from Britt Swanson Cryer, David Cryer, Gretchen Cryer, Nikki Renee Daniels, Anita Gillette, Jeff Kready, Quinn Lemley, Heather Mac Rae and Howard McGillin supported by pianist Nancy Ford and bassist Sean Smith. They will announce the program from the stage - along with the corresponding stories. Benefit tickets are priced at $75 (premium seating) and $50, and include a meet-the-artists' reception following the performance.

Cabaret Cares, the award winning Cabaret benefit series, now is its eleventh year returns on Jan 29th at 9:30 PM. Hosted By Drama Desk Award Winner Doreen Montalvo, the evening will present cast members from the hit Broadway Show ON YOUR FEET. 

Actress/LA theatre inaugurator, Penny Fuller has embarked on a new leg of her career as a cabaret artiste. Ms. Fuller will be bringing her solo musical play 13 THINGS ABOUT ED CARPOLOTTI to the Broad Stage beginning January 11. I had the most delightful opportunity to chat with the vibrant, vivacious Ms. Fuller. She possesses a memory of an elephant, effortlessly listing off names of cast compatriots and retelling intriguing incidents of her theatre highlights.
