El tema de la migración es abordado por el artista ecuatoriano Pablo Caviedes en su libro On the Map, mediante tres retratos: el del propio autor, quien representa el talento y temple de los inmigrantes de primera generación, así como del expresidente de Estados Unidos, Barack Obama, y del artista Andy Warhol, quienes simbolizan los numerosos aportes de los inmigrantes de segunda generación en aquel país.  

Ashe Releases New Single 'Emotional'

Ashe releases her new single and accompanying video, “Emotional” - available everywhere via Mom+Pop Music. The song is taken from her highly-anticipated forthcoming sophomore album Rae. Directed by Jason Lester, the video gives life to the carefree tune and is reminiscent of The Velvet Underground's live performance at Andy Warhol's Factory.

Queer|Art, New York City's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, has announced the winner of the 2021 Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant, collaborative duo, Desireena Almoradie and Barbara Malaran. The New York City-based duo will receive a $7,000 cash grant, as well as studio visits with members of the judges panel in support of their creative and professional development.
