Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT) announced its Season 13 lineup to a packed house of invited donors and season subscribers. The eight full-scale productions will appear on the ABT Mainstage for the 2017-2018 season October 2017 through September 20186.

When a gaggle of 25 eminently talented youngsters snakes around the tables of a workhouse dining room to the tune of Food, Glorious Food, it is a sign of things to come in Andy Meyers's production of OLIVER! (on stage through May 21st at Arizona Broadway Theatre): exuberant choreography (Kurtis Overby) and a dynamic song-and-dance ensemble to match.

The Living Earth Show - a Bay Area new music initiative comprised of electric guitarist Travis Andrews and percussionist Andy Meyerson - will release its sophomore album Dance Music October 28 on New Amsterdam Records.  To celebrate the album, the group will perform in New York City on October 21 at National Sawdust.

Arizona Broadway Theatre blows the roof off the THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS with a non-stop hit parade of Lone Star big star moments. Leading the pack is Cassandra Norville Klaphake as Miss Mona, the madam of the legendary brothel that inspired Carol Hall, Larry King, and Peter Masterson to pen the tale of tricks and treats. Klaphake delivers a commanding performance as the mother hen who guards her coop with a righteous blend of good business sense and sentimentality.

How sweet SWEET CHARITY is! Arizona Broadway Theatre pays glorious tribute to this theatrical gem by mounting its own diamond of a production, tastefully directed by Seth Reines, featuring the glowing talent of Liz Fallon as Charity, and sparkling with a marvelous fusion of imaginative Peter Max-style set design (Geof Eroe), lighting (Jeff Davis), and costumes (John P. Canadian collective, Scattered Bodies, is composed of three dynamic artists, Brian Brett, Susheela Dawne, and Andy Meyers, who all have vastly different backgrounds. Together they blend their talents using samples from relentlessly productive Toronto art punks The Scenics' late 1970's recordings to create 'Talking Songs', which was recently released on Dream Tower Records.
