Arizona Broadway Theatre's thirteenth season continues as the Valley's leading producer of musical theatre with the opening of South Pacific which will run through December 30.

One of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most enduring stories and masterful scores returns to the ABT stage. Set in the South Pacific of WWII, show-stopping numbers include, "There Is Nothing Like A Dame" and "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair." South Pacific will be "Some Enchanted Evening" for the whole family!

The run of South Pacific will include tributes to local veterans featuring their stories in the lobby area. One such veteran is in the show - T. V. Reeves served in Vietnam and plays Captain George Brackett.

Making their Arizona Broadway Theatre debuts are Sean David Cooper (Emile De Becque), Kate Marshall (Ensign Nellie Forbush), Jay McGill (Lieutenant Joseph Cable) and Chun Ying Chang (Liat) as the two sets of star-crossed lovers caught between their powerful love and society's conventions. Returning favorites include Brad Rupp as Luther Billis, Eleonore S. Thomas as Bloody Mary, and Easton Dana as Jerome. Direction by Andy Meyers (Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) and Choreography by Lauren Morgan.
