The White Horse Theater Company is set to present Sam Shepard's gripping, yet rarely seen play Eyes For Consuela from February 6-21 at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street). The four-person drama surrounding the nature of love, loss and separation in a dreamlike Mexican landscape will be directed by White Horse Theater Company's Producing Artistic Director Cyndy A. Marion.

From today, October 21 to November 8, August Strindberg Repertory will transport Strindberg's 'Miss Julie' to an antebellum Louisiana plantation in a new interpretation conceived by Artistic Director Robert Greer and adapted by Edgar Chisholm from a translation by Greer. The production will include a ballet sequence, which Strindberg specified in the original manuscript and which has never been performed before. The piece will be directed by Robert Greer and choreographed by Ja' Malik.

A young man looks toward the future even as he finds himself remembering the past in Brian Friel's comedic drama Philadelphia, Here I Come!, presented by T. Schreiber Theatre at 151 West 26th Street on the 7th floor. Directed by Jake Turner, Philadelphia, Here I Come! will run from today, October 15 through November 22 with performances Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm.

Stable Cable Lab Co. and Vera Khodasevich announce the cast and creative team for the workshop production of Accidents Waiting to Happen, a play by Jonathan Libman, directed by Padraic Lillis. Invited presentations for Accidents Waiting to Happen will begin on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at IRT Theater and are scheduled to run through Sunday, June 8, 2014. The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this new play. This project was developed, in part, through Kori Rushton and the IRT 3B Development Series.

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company presents two thoughtful and poignantly funny takes on the meaning of trying to define yourself in the world, and the nature of performance in life, on film and on stage with the world premiere of Don Nigro's noir comedy A Snowfall in Berlin (running March 12 - April 5) alternating with the revival of John Patrick Shanley's seldom-seen The Big Funk: A Casual Play (running March 13 - April 6). Nylon Fusion Theatre Company presents two world-premiere one-act works by Don Nigro Marina and Mata Hari, at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, about two women who bravely faced personal battles as they were caught up in the turmoil of the two world wars. Directed by Ivette Dumeng, and starring Tatyana Kot in the title roles, with Curtis James Nielsen, Marina and Mata Hari will be performed together at the Robert Moss Theatre at 440 Lafayette Street beginning tomorrow, June 15th.
