A one-week extension has been announced today for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Harold Wolpert, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) production of Curse of the Starving Class by Sam Shepard and directed by Tony Award nominee Terry Kinney. The production will now run April 23 to June 2, 2019 with a Monday, May 13 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

This year's festival, which will showcase the repertoire of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart), will feature company artists will include Haley Bond, Sara Canter, Jonathan Judge-Russo (A Rainy Day in New York, "Law & Order: SVU"), Trevor Kluckman, Alan Langdon, Brad Lemons, Amy Northup, Courtney Shaw and Karen Sours Albisua ("The Chi," "The Bridge").

The Thespis Theater Festival will present the world premiere of Mickele Hogan's first full-length play, "Mourning the Living," which explores the struggle of caring for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
The play will be presented at 9 p.m. on Aug. 11; 1 p.m. on Aug. 13 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Hudson Guild Theater, 441 West 26th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues. Co-creators and ONCE cast members Erikka Walsh, Katrina Lenk, and Scott Stangland launch their Seed&Spark campaign for Season One of MISS TERI. The actor/musicians are set to film the remaining episodes in the spring of 2016.
MISS TERI is an offbeat comedy about three misfit musicians who look to the stars to find their way. The series is co-created by and features Erikka Walsh, Katrina Lenk and Scott Stangland.
