'Smash' star Krysta Rodriguez will lead an all-star group of Broadway talent who will perform as part of 'Made For Each Other: Broadway Meets Andrew McMahon' on Saturday, June 15th at 54 Below.

Chance Theater presents the third show of its 15th Anniversary Season - the hilarious and irreverent emo rock musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson by Alex Timbers, with music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, and directed by Kari Hayter. Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson begins previews on July 5, opens July 12 and continues through August 4 at Chance Theater.

Dubbed the season of 'ART Inside the Box', the company has moved from Bittner Hall into the basement of 16 Linwood location and has converted it into a black box theater performance space. ART/WNY decision to move from Bittner Hall into this space allows the company more flexibility with productions scheduled for the 2013-14 season as well as allows ART/WNY more of a permenent presences in the space. 'We can build, create and light environments without the overhanging pressure to tear it down and reset the whole thing, from platforms to light grid, for each production.' Added Executive/Artistic Director Matthew LaChiusa. 'That's going to add to the production values of each piece as well as make it more of a engaging experience for patrons.'

New Line Theatre, 'the bad boy of musical theatre,' closes its 22nd season now through June 22, 2013, with the regional premiere of one of the most outrageous shows the company has ever produced. With book and lyrics by Spencer Green and Gary Stockdale, and music by Stockdale, BUKOWSICAL is a wacky, high-energy - and gleefully adult - musical comedy, an ironic and insightful 21st-century reboot of the classic American musical comedy, exploring the intersection between sex, drugs, booze, and art, all through the life story of the great American novelist and poet Charles Bukowski. This collection of letters and manuscripts is one of the greatest collections ever amassed. In the first sale a letter by Vincent van Gogh sold for $336,000 and a Thomas Jefferson letter sold for $300,000, Part II promises to be even bigger.

Minneapolis Musical Theatre and Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that MMT's 2013-14 season will feature Twin Cities debuts of Carrie The Musical, Five Course Love and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at the Trust's New Century Theatre. Carrie The Musical, based on Stephen King's bestselling novel, runs October 4-27, 2013. Five Course Love, a quintet of humorous and witty vignettes about true love, plays January 24-February 16, 2014. The comedic rock musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson will run June 6-29, 2014. This trio of shows will be directed by Steven Meerdink, Minneapolis Musical Theatre's artistic director. Husband-and-wife duo - two-time Tony Award-winner Katie Finneran (most recently on Broadway in 'Annie') and Darren Goldstein ('Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson') hosted the 15th Anniversary Benefit for the Off-Broadway theatre company Page 73 Productions last week at City Winery (155 Varick Street) in Manhattan. Migrations is an investigation of the mechanical and organic aspects of time through aerial technique and pedestrian movement. Doctuh Mistuh Productions has announced its upcoming production, REEFER MADNESS, THE MUSICAL. The production will be directed by Michael McKelvey (B. Iden Payne Award, Sweeney Todd and Assassins) with set design by Joe Carpenter (Mary Moody Northen Theatre), costumes by Glenda Barnes (B. Iden Payne Award, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), and lighting design by Sam Chesney.

Discovery Channel reveals new secrets behind 'D-Day' - the day that changed the course of the 20th Century. On June 6, 1944, the Allies' invasion of the Nazi-occupied France transformed the outcome of World War II; however, did you know '3D' photography was the key to 'D-Day's' success? This futuristic technology mapped every inch of the Nazi defenses, allowing the Allies to execute the greatest invasion in history. The hour-long special, 'D-Day in 3D,' premieres Sunday, May 26th at 10 PM ET/PT.

Magic Theatre will welcome back Irish playwright Mark O'Rowe and director Jon Tracy for the first American production of Terminus running tonight, May 22 - June 16.

Due to overwhelming demand, The Public Theater announced a final four-week extension for the critically acclaimed world premiere musical Here Lies Love, with concept and lyrics by David Byrne, music by David Byrneand Fatboy Slim, additional music by Tom Gandey and J Pardo, and choreography by Annie-B Parson. Directed by Alex Timbers, Here Lies Love officially opened on Tuesday, April 23 and has been extended a fourth and final time to Sunday, July 28.
