STARS OF DAVID: STORY TO SONG, a new musical revue based on the best-selling book by Abigail Pogrebin, is announced by Tony Award winning producer Daryl Roth, to launch an extensive 6-city Florida tour, premiering December 23 through January 4, at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Previews begin on January 26, 2015 at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd St, New York, NY 10036) and APPLICATION PENDING officially opens on February 10, 2015, playing a limited engagement through April 19, 2015. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Telecharge.com.

La Jolla Playhouse announces five shows for its 2015/2016 season, featuring all new works, including the world-premiere musical Come from Away, featuring book, music and lyrics by acclaimed Canadian husband-and-wife team Irene Sankoff and David Hein, directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley; the world premiere of Indecent, co-created by director Rebecca Taichman (Playhouse's Sleeping Beauty Wakes, Milk Like Sugar), and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive), co-produced with Yale Repertory Theatre; and Blueprints to Freedom: An Ode to Bayard Rustin, by Michael Benjamin Washington (Memphis, The Wiz), directed by The Cosby Show's Phylicia Rashad, which had its first workshop during the Playhouse's 2014 DNA New Work Series.

The Metropolitan Room will host the east coast premier of the new cabaret "Flop!", conceived, written, and performed by one of New York's finest up-and-coming performers Brad Bong on Monday December 8, 2014 at 9:30 PM. It will star Golden Globe-winner and six-time Emmy Award-nominee Elisabeth Moss ('Mad Men,' 'Top of the Lake,' Speed-the-Plow) as Heidi Holland - a woman willing to do what it takes to take on the world. It will also star Emmy Award-nominee Jason Biggs ('Orange Is The New Black,' American Pie), and Tony Award-nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), and will feature Tracee Chimo (Lips Together, Teeth Apart, 'Orange Is The New Black,' Bad Jews) with additional casting to be announced.
