The St. James Theatre Box Office, 246 West 44 Street, will open on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 10a.m. for the Broadway production of AMERICAN IDIOT.

AMERICAN IDIOT will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the ST. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street). The marquee is currently on it's way up!

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Featuring: Nick Blaemire, James Gardiner, Steven Booth, Andrew Call, Jesse JP Johnson, and Adam Halpin. GLORY DAYS is an original musical with music and lyrics by Nick Blaemire, and a book by James Gardiner, about four best friends who reunite a year after high school graduation, only to find how much they have grown apart.

Ghostlight Records has proclaimed November 24, 2009 - the official release date of the GLORY DAYS Original Broadway Cast Recording - ‘Glory Day' in honor of the show's history-making run at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre last season. Today, Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced the cast for its world premiere of American Idiot. Based on the Grammy Award-winning album of the same name, the show features the music of Green Day and the lyrics of its frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. American Idiot is being staged by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, who also collaborated with Armstrong on the story.

Signature Theatre today announced that the run of its innovative new production of Les Miserables will be extended for four weeks through February 22 due to ticket demand. The environmental staging brings the beloved musical's epic scale of 28 actors, 138 costumes, a Broadway-sized 14-piece orchestra, and a five-ton steel set right into the audience's laps in the intimacy of Signature's 280-seat MAX Theatre.

Signature Theatre today announced that Andrew Call will sing the role of the student revolutionary Marius in its upcoming production of Les Misérables. He will replace Doug Kreeger, who will be performing in the new off-Broadway production of Rooms. Call recently performed in Signature's world premiere production of Glory Days, playing the role of the would-be jock Andy. Call has also performed in Cry-Baby and High Fidelity on Broadway, in Altar Boyz off-Broadway, and in national tours of Saturday Night Fever and Altar Boyz.

The Duplex presents DREAMER - The Songs of Beck & May - an evening of music by Jordan Beck and Jonathan May, which will be performed on Sunday, November 2 and Monday, November 3 at the Duplex in New York.

On Monday, April 14, Jim Caruso's Cast Party was packed with Broadway newcomers and and a few legendary performers. Seen and heard were Barrett Foa, Billy Porter, Michael Winther, Lisa Howard, Natalie Joy Johnson, lyricist Amanda Green, Viola Hagi, Christine Lavin, Randy Jones, Jessica Vosk, Marilyn Maye, the Altar Boyz and the cast and creators of the upcoming Broadway musical, Glory Days.

Award-winning Puerto Rican playwright, director, actor, and journalist Roberto Ramos-Perea will see his controversial play Bad Blood - Malasangre presented as the 40th anniversary mainstage production at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, led by Artistic Director Miriam Colon Valle. Previews for the New York premiere of Bad Blood - Malasangre begin April 25th at 8PM, with Opening Night on May 3rd, at 8PM.
