42West just hosted BROADWAY THE HARDWAY last night, July 28, featuring HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Lena Hall and more. Alongside Tony winner Hall's The Deafening, BROADWAY THE HARDWAY featured Tony nominee Billy Magnussen's Reserved For Rondee with fellow Tony nom Constantine Maroulis, and Rock N Roll Debauchery, including cast members from ROCK OF AGES, A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, and more. The Public's HERE LIES LOVE kicked off its 'Summer Friday' performances on Friday. On the Friday, July 11th kickoff, guests in attendance included Alan Rickman, Tommy Tune, Anika Larsen, After Midnight's Karine Plantadit, Andrew Andrew and Sirius XM's Julie James. Hospitality Queen Susan Buckley and Producing Artistic Director, Jacob Langfelder helped launch the new 14,000 square foot event space 42West in a big way over the weekend with appearances by Tony and Grammy Award-Winner, Billy Porter (Kinky Boots, Billy's Back on Broadway) as well as Elizabeth A. Davis (Once, FairPlay), Robin DeJesus (In The Heights, La Cage Aux Folles), Emmy Award-Winner Lance Horne, DJs Andrew Andrew and Ali Luminescent and Christine Geiger as The Intergalactic Unicorns.

Broadway fans will be treated to an intimate performance by stars of Tony Award winning productions as 42West and its new Producing Artistic Director, Jacob Langfelder launch a Broadway PoPuP Series sponsored by Yamaha, beginning today, April 4 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. The monthly series at 42West (514 W. 42nd Street) will feature an inexpensive ticket to surprise PoPuP performances by some of Broadway's best. DJs Andrew Andrew (Girls, Gossip Girl), Emmy Award-winning composer Lance Horne, Trapper Felides (Next Big Thing) and LED Intergalactic Unicorns will host the inaugural evening.

Winners of the 2014 Joey Awards were announced last weekend at a formal evening ceremony at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Organized and overseen by the Joe Allen Academy of Arts & Bitching (JAAAB), 'The Joeys' are a set of awards given annually for excellence in food service and patronage at New York's City's famous Times Square celebrity hot-spots: Joe Allen, Orso and Bar Centrale.
