Ensemble Studio Theatre and EST's Youngblood are proud to present UNFILTERED 2015-2016, the annual festival series of brand new, full-length plays from emerging playwrights under the age of thirty. This year's Youngblood graduates are also the first beneficiaries of the new exit commission grant, donated this year by Tony-nominated playwright Robert Askins.

Whether you know her as the increasingly complicated serial murderer 'A' on ABC Family's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, or as half of 'Jamko' on CBS crime drama BLUE BLOODS, chances are, unless you are a dedicated musical theatre fan, you might not know that Vanessa Ray is a musical theatre girl at heart. Before joining the cast of soap opera AS THE WORLD TURNS, which jump-started her TV career, Vanessa starred in regional productions, national tours, and on Broadway in shows like FOOTLOOSE, SPELLING BEE, and HAIR. Along the way, she became friends with Broadway's favorite singing, dancing videographer Andrew Keenan-Bolger, whom we have to thank for a lot of these videos!

The musical web series THE BATTERY'S DOWN, which wrapped up its final season in late 2009, has returned for a reunion special (which aired on Hulu earlier this week) and a Joe's Pub concert, with performances from original cast members (and some very special guests). Casting has been announced and a complete schedule is set for SUMMERWORKS 2014 - the annual season of new plays presented by the four-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb -- it has been announced by Maria Striar, Clubbed Thumb's Producing Artistic Director. SUMMERWORKS 2014 will be presented May 30 to July 5 at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St.) in Manhattan. Single tickets are now on sale for $18, students tickets are $15 and festival passes are $45.
