Amy Miller, a long-time Gibney collaborator and colleague and a Company member since 2011, was recently promoted to Associate Artistic Director. In this new role, Amy will serve as rehearsal director and artistic administrator. She will also work closely with Community Action Manager Yasemin Ozumerzifon and the dancers to further enrich and develop theCommunity Action program. Day one- we had an orientation of Jack London State Park, which is where Transcendence Theatre Co. is housed during their summer performances. Everyone showed up with smiles on their faces ready to do whatever was necessary to get the job done. We circled up, as Artistic Director Amy Miller read inspiring quotes to gear us up for the journey ahead.
