Directed by Tony nominee LEIGH SILVERMAN, the production began previews on April 28, 2015 and officially opens tonight, May 19, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre, 305 West 43rd Street.

The NYU Tisch School of the Arts annual gala honoring Michael C. Hall, Steven Lutvak and Robert L. Freedman, with a special tribute to Mel Silverman, was held last night, May 4, at the Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall. The evening was hosted by Anna Deavere Smith and featured special presenters Tyne Daly, and Winnie Holzman. The gala performance, directed by Bill Castellino, celebrated the incredible accomplishments of Tisch students, both past and present. According to Vulture, Clueless director Amy Heckerling revealed that she is currenly in the "really, really, early, early stages" of creating a musical version of the hit 1995 film. Heckerling has written both a book and song lyrics for the show herself, and she even has a star in mind. She told Vulture: "Katy Perry has expressed interest, and I love her to death." She continued: "Maybe Iggy [Azalea] wants to do it!"

The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.
