Nominations for the 66th Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced today, and the full list of nominees is available here as well as information on who was eligible.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a final extension for Prayer for the French Republic, written by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon and directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer. The world premiere will now play two additional weeks and must close Sunday, March 27 at New York City Center – Stage I.

New York Theatre Workshop  announced today that due to positive COVID tests in the company, all performances of On Sugarland by Obie Award winner Aleshea Harris (Is God Is, What to Send Up When It Goes Down) have been cancelled through Sunday February 20, 2022. New York Theatre Workshop announced today a change to the performance schedule for On Sugarland. Previews, which were set to begin on Wednesday February 2, 2022, will now start on Thursday February 3 to allow the team more time for technical rehearsals. Additionally, the performance on Friday February 4 has been cancelled.

Pasadena Playhouse will present Teenage Dick, a brilliantly hilarious take on Richard III by Mike Lew and directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel, streaming online.
