We gather upstairs at Fergie's Pub for the Pop-Up Play and also throw in the great taste of local East Passyunk pie shop Stargazy Pies and a Fergie's beverage. This year's offering is Charolais, a dark comedy by Noni Stapleton directed by Tom Reing.

Coming in May, City Theatre Austin proudly presents the critically-acclaimed stage drama All My Sons, Arthur Miller's masterpiece about one man search for the American dream - and the ultimate destruction in his pursuit. This gripping portrait of a life and family won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award and Antoinette Perry Award when it first opened in 1947 and, with its relevance, is still being produced in theatres today. It plays May 11 - June 3 and is directed by City Theatre guest director Tracy Arnold.

This season's offerings will be Winifred & Myrtle Go to High School by Leah Nanako Wrinkler, directed by Michael Goldfried; Around 2 by James Anthony Tyler, directed by Estefania Fadul; and The Caribbean Queen with book & lyrics by Jamie Cowperthwait, music & lyrics by Salomon Lerner, directed and choreographed by Ilana Ransom Toeplitz with musical direction by Salomon Lerner. An-Lin Dauber will provide scenic design, with costume design by Karen Boyer, lighting design by Kate August and sound design by Karl Berntson.

Sundance Institute Announces 2018 Theatre Lab Acting Company And Creative Advisors

Sundance Institute's Theatre Lab kicks off on May 6th, and today announced this year's participating acting company and creative advisors. The Lab, which runs through May 27 at the Fellah Hotel outside Marrakech, Morocco, is supervised by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, and is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community, alternating locations between Sundance Resort in Utah and a venue in the Middle East/North African region, as part of a multi-year commitment to international work and a means of facilitating cultural exchange between artists writing in English and Arabic.

Chelsea Marcantel is not an air guitarist. Nor is she a part of an air guitar shredding family. She found the world through a former boyfriend she met in Chicago. "I thought...this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard." The relationship did not work out, however, Marcantel found herself going down a "Youtube Wormhole" of air guitar performances. And after watching the acclaimed documentary Air Guitar Nation, she began writing a play about the world of imaginary soloing.
