Ensemble Theatre Announces 2019 Season

Mark Kilmurry, Artistic Director, Ensemble Theatre today announced the 2019 Season which, says Kilmurry, promises to be an exceptional year with six brilliant comedies, three intense dramas and a musical. Three of the plays will be World Premieres, three Australian Premieres and there will be a return season of the sell-out play, DIPLOMACY.

Victory Gardens Theater Artistic Director Chay Yew, Managing Director Erica Daniels and Director of New Play Development Skyler Gray announce the lineup for the 10th Anniversary IGNITION Festival of New Plays, including Prosthesis by Robert Askins; Untitled Road Trip Play by Lauren Yee; White History by Dave Harris; How to Defend Yourself by Lily Padilla; Seeing Eye by Nick Malakhow; and The First Deep Breath by Lee Edward Colston II. The 2018 Festival runs August 3 -5, 2018 at Victory Gardens Theater, located at 2433 N Lincoln Avenue.

Bay Area Playwrights Festival Brings RESISTANCE & REVOLUTION at Potrero Stage

The six Playwrights were selected from more than 700 submissions nationally, 85% from outside the bay area, from more than 2 dozen states and Canada - coast to coast a very North American cohort.

National New Play Network Announces 2018-19 Awardees

Luna Stage Hires New Leadership
