Jacob's Pillow has announced Misty Copeland as the recipient of the 2023 Jacob's Pillow Dance Award. Copeland will accept this award at Jacob's Pillow's Season Opening Gala in the Berkshires on Saturday, June 24.

Hope Muir, Joan and Jerry Lozinski Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, and Barry Hughson, Executive Director, has announced The International Competition for The Erik Bruhn Prize will be livestreamed internationally on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

New York City based Tom Gold Dance will give the World Premiere of Tom Gold Dance Founder and Director Tom Gold's XV during the Company's 2023 spring season, Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. For the first program of its 15th anniversary, the Company will also present a revival of Gold's Significant Strangers (2019) and the first traditional staging of Gold's A Felicidade (2020).

Kaatsbaan Cultural Park will present a Spring Festival over three consecutive weekends, beginning June 2 and running through June 19, 2023 taking place both outdoors across its 153-acres in the Hudson Valley as well as in its indoor Theater.

Les Misérables, Disney's Aladdin, Mean Girls, Jesus Christ Superstar, Shrek, and The Cher Show will make up the 2023-2024 Glenn Korff Broadway Series! Five-show Broadway packages start at just $205 and include Les Misérables, Disney's Aladdin, Mean Girls, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Shrek: The Musical. Broadway subscribers also get first access to The Cher Show shows as a “package add-ons.”

Stella Abrera, former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, has officially been named Artistic Director of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School as announced by ABT Artistic Director Susan Jaffe.

As much as I admire the art of ballet, I have never seen a new, professional ballet performance, one that no one else has seen before. To say I was excited to be in the audience for the opening night of the world premiere of Houston Ballet's SUMMER AND SMOKE is an understatement, and it was everything that I hoped it to be!

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) goes upstate to honor its Founder & Artistic Director Mikhail Baryshnikov's 75th birthday. Mikhail Baryshnikov at 75 will be a day of performances and celebration produced by BAC to take place at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park (Tivoli, NY) on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 2PM. 

The lineup will include influential musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries whose work has inspired Mr. Baryshnikov throughout his life in the U.S.: American avant-garde artist, composer, and musician Laurie Anderson, Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall, Russian–born American singer, songwriter, and pianist Regina Spektor, and more.

ALL ARTS, the streaming platform and channel dedicated to the arts, will premiere four film projects from notable New York City artists commissioned for its 2023 Kate W. Cassidy Artist in Residence program, presented in collaboration with Obie Award-winning performance space HERE.

To honor Agnes de Mille on the 30th Anniversary of her passing, The De Mille Working Group will present a public program featuring live performances, panel discussion, and historical film footage, 6:00-7:30 P.M. on Monday, April 3 at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Bruno Walter Auditorium.
