Marking three decades at the forefront of innovative dance, Smuin Contemporary Ballet has announced a sensational lineup for its 30th anniversary season.

American Ballet Theatre returns to the Metropolitan Opera House with four stories of love for its 2023 Summer season, June 22–July 22. The season will feature the New York Premiere of two-time Tony Award-winner Christopher Wheeldon's Like Water for Chocolate, as well as full-length classics Giselle, Swan Lake, and Romeo and Juliet.  General public on sale for ABT's 2023 Summer season begins on Monday, April 24 at 12:00 P.M. at the Metropolitan Opera House box office. 

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) has announced the second annual Summer for the City, the ultimate New York festival.

The Fisher Center at Bard will present Illinois, a world premiere music-theater work based on Sufjan Stevens’ acclaimed album of the same name, June 23–July 2.

South Shore Ballet Theatre (SSBT), the region's pre-professional ballet school, announces that registration is now open for its 2023-24 programs, welcoming both prospective and returning students at its studios at 45 Industrial Park Road, Hingham.

Ethan Stiefel is a household name. Considered one of the greatest American male ballet dancers of all time, it was Stiefel's explosive energy that lit up countless stages all over the world. But since his retirement from American Ballet Theatre in 2012, Stiefel has dedicated his artistic life to inspiring the next generation of dancers. As Dean of the School of Dance at UNCSA, to Artistic Director of the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Stiefel has helped shape the present—and future—of dance as we know it.
