Emit Theatre will present TWELFTH NIGHT: An Immersive Experience, an interactive show for young audiences and families, adapted from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and directed by Gianna Cioffi. Twelfth Night runs for a limited engagement March 13 - 22, Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 3pm and 7pm, and Sundays at 2pm at El Barrio's Artspace PS109 (215 E. 99th St., off the Q and 6 trains). 'One Drop,' a family drama with music by Andrea J. Fulton, brings to life the politics of a young mixed-race man's 'passing' for white in post-Civil War Louisiana, illustrating the risks taken by those not afraid to love despite bigotry. The piece, inspired by the playwright's actual family history, tells the story of a family torn apart by racism but ultimately reunited. It debuted in Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival in 2010. TNC will present a revival of the play, directed by Sabura Rashid, from February 1 to 18 in honor of Black History Month.

Mrs. Schrodinger's Cat, a new comedy written and directed by Tasha Nicole Partee, will be presented as part of the 20thAnnual New York International Fringe Festival starting Sunday August 14 at Teatro SEA at The Clemente. The cast includes Eileen Howard (Nunsense), Danielle Patsakos (The House of Bernarda Alba, N.Y.I.T nomination), Emily Gordon Fire (Twelfth Night), JC Sullivan (Sordid Lives), Madigan Mayberry (Little Shop of Horrors), Amelia Huckel-Bauer(Pychopathia Sexualis) and Emily Moody (Dog Sees God).
