Continuing its mission of showcasing new and unpublished musical theater tunes, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returns to Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Feliz with its most exciting program to date.

(mostly)musicals returned to The E Spot Lounge on Monday, August 24, 2015 for LUCKY NUMBER 13 (a cabaret that COUNTS). The diverse musical selections all featured numbers, and were performed by an exponentially talented array of singers under the music direction of the award winning Gregory Nabours. Jordan Kai Burnett (Love is a Battlefield) returns as the spicy chanteuse hostess. Bryan Blaskie (Assistants: The Musical) will return as musical director.

On Monday, July 6, 2015, (mostly)musicals will make its long-awaited return with its 12th edition: The Heat Is ON! at 8pm in the E Spot Lounge. (mostly)musicals has assembled a unique assortment of songs - mostly from musicals, of course - and lined up a blazing hot array of LA talent to perform them!

'The Fire Room', by Meghan Brown, is set in a surreal afterlife that shifts between a 1920s speakeasy and a shoddy modern Van Nuys apartment. J.W. and Meredith are two ghosts who have managed to find true love, however, when Meredith's earthly ex-lover arrives on the scene he revives the darkness she has so desperately fought.

The old adage that the show must go on was put to the test at Hudson Theatre during the opening night performance of Jonathan Larson's musical RENT presented by the 2Cents Theatre Group. Not only did the air conditioning go out, the sound equipment was on the blink! Even so, the produciton still packs a punch.

Directed by Kristen Boule, with musical direction by Morgan Fitch, Rent is set to open today, May 24. Private Eyes by Steven Dietz, directed by Shaunessy Quinn, opens on Thursday, May 30, and it will run in repertory with Rent, through June 30 at the Hudson Theatre Mainstage in Hollywood.

2Cents Theatre Group has announced that its production of Rent, Jonathan Larson's legendary Broadway smash hit that is now celebrating its 20th anniversary, will benefit four different HIV/AIDS research and support organizations during its run. Beginning on May 30, a percentage of each weekend's gross sales will be donated to AIDS Project Los Angeles, AIDS Research Alliance, Being Alive, and Alliance for Housing and Healing. Directed by Kristen Boule, with musical direction by Morgan Fitch, Rent opens on Friday, May 24.

'Gimme, gimme now!' perfectly describes Stiltz!, a comic musical fable showing the negativity of greed, power and fame. Though flawed the show has some terrific tunes from Deborah Johnson and a fine cast under Wayland Pickard and Doug Engalla's steadily fast-paced direction.

STILTZ! The Musical with music and lyrics by Deborah Johnson, book and additional lyrics by Paula Miller, will have its World Premiere on September 24 through October 17, 2010. The musical plays Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm, at the Actors Forum Theatre in NoHo.
