Bway's Michael-Leon Wooley and Deborah S. Craig Join the Cast of (mostly)musicals: CRIME SCENE 3.13, Full Cast Announced
Michael-Leon Wooley (B'way: LITTLE SHOP, FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE, Film: Disney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, DREAMGIRLS) and Deborah S. Craig (B'way: SPELLING BEE, TV: TRANSPARENT) will sing at the E Spot Lounge in (mostly)musicals: CRIME SCENE - the 22nd entry in this popular series of themed cabarets - on Monday, March 13th at 7:30pm.
They join the previously announced high caliber lineup of Sharon McNight (Tony nomination: STARMITES), Alison Luff (B'way: MATILDA, LES MIS), Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS), Amanda Kruger (Everly Snodgrass), Benjamin Schrader (B'way: AVENUE Q, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER), Cindy Sciacca (HOCUS POCUS at Rockwell), J.Elaine Marcos (B'way: ANNIE, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT), Jason Michael Snow (B'way: BOOK OF MORMON), Matt Magnusson (Ovation nomination: RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD), Miguel Cardenas (CLAUDIO QUEST at the Chance), and Will Collyer (BREAKING THROUGH at Pasadena Playhouse)!
CRIME SCENE will be a uniquely entertaining evening of songs so good, it might be illegal! The event will also feature a special preview from COME FLY WITH ME: The Sammy Cahn Songbook, scheduled to have a one night layover at the E Spot on following Monday, March 20th - AND a performance from the daring dames of Cherry Poppins! Three-time Ovation Award winner Gregory Nabours will return as the mastermind behind the piano, with Emily Clark and Mark Jacobson (AKA the usual suspects) hosting the open mic afterparty - so if you want to step up and sing like a canary, get there early to sign up!
