(mostly)musicals Celebrates With (mostly) HOLIDAY in a New Location at Bar Fedora

By:
Following eight exciting editions at the E Spot Lounge, (mostly)musicals takes a detour downtown for their first show in the beautiful, intimate Bar Fedora at Au Lac! "We are so excited to be doing a holiday show again, our last was in 2014. There are so many new or neglected holiday songs that deserve to be heard!" explains producer Amy Francis Schott.

Are you tired of the same old Xmas music? Had enough chestnuts roasting and bells ring-ting-tingling too? Well, we bring glad tidings of great joy - you won't be hearing those in (mostly) HOLIDAY! Instead, we'll take the road less traveled, blazing through Broadway, saying howdy in Nashville, and gift-wrapping songs by exciting new writers like Carner & Gregor, Andy Roninson, Joel Waggoner, and more!

You will be delighted by a sleigh-full of talent including: Sharon McNight (B'way: STARMITES), Eric B. Anthony (B'way: THE LION KING, MERRILY at the Wallis), Jeffrey Polk (Bway: FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE), Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS), Kenneth Miles Ellington Lopez (EASTSIDE HEARTBEATS), Jeremy Whately (Simi Valley's RAGTIME), Marc Ginsburg (Che in Cabrillo's EVITA) Ben Boquist (SONGS FROM THE FALL), Liza Baron, Kristy Hanson (SING ME HOME), Emily Clark (SLIGHTLY DRAMATIC), Mark Jacobson (Rogue Machine's CAPTAIN OF THE BIBLE QUIZ TEAM), and more TBA! Plus, special guests J. Elaine Marcos (B'way: ANNIE, PRISCILLA; Connie in A CHORUS LINE at the Hollywood Bowl) and Kevin Yee (B'way: MARY POPPINS; 'Super Gay Asian Cabaret') will perform an original holiday duet! And, as always, we have the incomparable 3-time Ovation Award winner Gregory Nabours at the keyboard! (Plus an open mic afterparty!)

Give yourself (and perhaps a friend?) an early Xmas present! Tickets for (mostly) HOLIDAY are $12 and $15 with a 2 item minimum, and are available at http://mmLA121216.bpt.me/. Doors open at 7pm for dinner and drinks, or choose to enjoy dinner in the restaurant before the show! Bar Fedora is located at 710 W 1st Street (at the corner of 1st and Hope) in downtown LA, in the back of Au Lac restaurant, serving plant based, Vietnamese inspired vegan cuisine. Convenient garage and limited metered street parking are available.
