TREE TALES to be Presented by Prospect Theater Company in Riverside Park

Prospect Theater Company has announced its first in-person, live arts program of 2021: TREE TALES. This unique event invites audience members to walk through the Crabapple Grove in Riverside Park guided by an ensemble of artists, and interact with original flash-fiction short stories penned by 15 theater writers.

Full Cast Announced For The 7th IDES EXTRAVAGANZA at The Duplex

50th Anniversary Concert Production of Al Carmines' CHRISTMAS RAPPINGS is Coming to Judson Memorial Church

Christmas Rappings is back in a very special 50th Anniversary concert production of this beloved Greenwich Village tradition-a Christmas oratorio unlike any other. When Al Carmines introduced audiences to Rappings on December 14, 1969, they had come to expect the surprising range and inventiveness of this multiple Obie-award winner, but perhaps not an evening that faithfully tells the Christmas story through such a high-spirited, often funny, collision of musical genres, from country to classical to blues to gospel, and even with a rousing tango.

Ben Fankhauser and More Concert Production of THE FLOOD

Casting has been announced for THE FLOOD, an original musical inspired by the historic 1993 Mississippi River Floods. This one night only special concert presentation will take place at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street) on Saturday, September 8 at 8pm. Produced by the Prospect Theater Company, THE FLOOD kicks off their 2018-2019 season and this IGNITE series concert is presented in partnership with Greymatters Productions.

Author / storyteller Tom Pryor's next show 'CITY STORIES: STOOPS TO NUTS' is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12 @ 6:00pm at the Cornelia Street Cafe in Manhattan. Featured guests will include writers Alexandra de Suze, Daniela Schiller, Mickey Wyte and musician Sherryl Marshall. $8.00 admission includes a free drink.
