No Name Presents The Uptown Cabaret, 3/11 and 3/21

Host Alexandra de Suze and Musical Director Marilynn Seits host an evening of performances by singers, songwriters and musical lovers alike.

No Name Presents: The Uptown Cabaret is an opportunity to play; to enjoy your music; your art; an opportunity to share this joy with your fellow singers, composers and lyricists. Bring that new audition song! Bring that song that you'd never get to sing otherwise! Bring that new material for your BMI class and test it out in a safe and fun place!

March denotes the start of the Spring, Women's History Month and now, thanks to Mayor Bloomberg, in NYC, March is CABARET MONTH! Come celebrate with us and help support the arts UPTOWN! Cabaret is not just a midtown affair. The second Monday and third Thursday of every month, you can experience the power of cabaret UPTOWN with us at the Indian Road Cafe! Come share your song 3/11 at 7pm and then come back 3/21 for the Uptown Cabaret SPOTLIGHT featuring composer/lyricist Timothy Huang.

Come on UP and play with us in Upstate Manhattan! You know you want to. Composers and lyricists, come on up and show us your stuff! (Locals Donna Stearns, former music director Rich Campell and 2011 Jonathan Larsen Award winner Josh Cohen have done it, so can YOU!)

Indian Road Café offers an excellent wine and beer -and coffee!-selection as well as great food from paninis to lobster mac and cheese all amidst a warm and casual atmosphere. Check out their "punch of the week" along with other fab cocktails! They also are hometo a monthly singer/songwriter open mic, comedy shows and classical performances by Opera On Tap.

So come join us for the Uptown Cabaret March 11th and continuing on the SECOND MONDAY of every month. Come test out your new songs, songs you've resolved to write or learn or songs that you just love to do in a part of the city you might not otherwise see...unless you live up in our fab neighborhood :)
