BWW Review: CHARLOTTE'S WEB at ARDEN THEATRE COMPANY is 'Some Play'

Charlotte's Web is a heartwarming story of a special friendship between a lovable pig and everyone's favorite spider. When a runt pig is born on the Arable farm, the young girl Fern saves him and nurtures him. She names him Wilbur and helps him grow big and strong. Wilbur is moved to the Zuckerman farm where he befriends a batch of barnyard animals, including a talented spider that weaves words into her web that are crucial to saving Wilbur's life as the story unfurls.

11th Hour Welcomes ART ISN'T EASY To Spotlight Series December 3

11th Hour Theatre Company's Spotlight Series continues with Art Isn't Easy Live! This hilarious web series that pokes fun at artistic snobbery will be performed live on Monday, December 3 at 7 p.m. It is hosted (with performances) by 11th Hour favorite Alex Keiper.  The performance will be at the Proscenium Theater at the Drake, 302 S. Hicks St. Tickets cost $24. $19 tickets are available for industry.

Love Is In The Air At Bristol Riverside Theatre

Bristol Riverside Theatre ends its mainstage season triumphantly with the farcical period-piece musical Triumph of Love, based on the play by Marivaux, with book by James Magruder, music by Jeffrey Stock, and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead on May 1-20. Directed by Keith Baker, music directed by Douglass Lutz, and choreographed by Stephen Casey, the ensemble cast features Jake Delaney, Joy Franz, Adam Hoyak, Alex Keiper, Rebecca Robbins, Danny Rutigliano, and Carl Wallnau.

HAND TO GOD Comes to Philadelphia Theatre Co.

Philadelphia Theatre Company continues its 2016-2017 season with the Tony-nominated comedy Hand to God by Robert Askins on March 31-April 30.  Directed by Matt Pfeiffer with Robert Smythe as puppet designer and puppet movement director, the all-Philadelphia cast features Grace Gonglewski, Alex Keiper, Aubie Merrylees, Matteo Scammell, and William Zielinski.

Arden Theatre Company opens its 29th season with Aaron Posner's STUPID f**kING BIRD, 'sort of' adapted from Anton Checkov's The Seagull. Posner, an Arden co-founder and former Artistic Director who has directed nearly 40 productions for the company, also directs his show for the first time. STUPID f**kING BIRD runs September 15 through October 16, 2016, on the F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia.
