Julie is one of the West End's most versatile entertainers, with a distinctive voice and unmatched comic timing. The Preston-born star is well known as a supporter of new writing in musical theatre. She's always done the same in her recordings, and that continues in her latest album. 'Rush of Life'.

It's a joyous little show in the Park this summer, with this revival of the rather old-hat Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - never quite in the calibre of the Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals, but a traditional favourite and staple of am-dram nonetheless.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced full casting for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, which begins rehearsals today, Monday 8 June. The production will run at the theatre from 16 July - 29 August with performance for press on 23 July.

West End's SWEENEY TODD, with Bryn Terfel and Emma Thompson, Adds Performance, April 5

Due to unprecedented public demand, an extra performance has been scheduled on Sunday 5 April at 3pm for Lonny Price's production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, A Musical Thriller at the London Coliseum. Tickets for the 5 April performance, including 300 seats at £10 each, will go on sale today (3 March 2015) at 10am. Sales for Sweeney Todd broke English National Opera box office records last September and the few remaining seats for performances from 30 March are available through the box office.
