Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. The event will be a continuous sing-a-thon, where talented children and groups from six states will come together to share the same stage with over 70 Broadway performers from most of the current shows and many past shows. Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe, the British tenor acclaimed for his role as 'Jean Valjean' in the widely watched 2010 25th anniversary special televised concert at London's O2 arena of LES MISERABLES, again in the West End's 2011 production, and in Broadway's current revival, just took over the role of 'J.M. Barrie' in Broadway's FINDING NEVERLAND. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you photos from his first official curtain call!

On Saturday, December 19, 2015 a group of over 70 children including Broadway performers and friends joined together in NYC to raise their voices for peace in hopes to help end gun violence.  They created a flash mob sing-in demonstration first at Schnipper's restaurant in the heart of Broadway on 8th Avenue and 41st and then once again in Times Square.

The Llewelyn Davies Boys of Finding Neverland, Broadway's new smash hit musical, taught a one-day musical theatre Finding Neverland theme workshop at A Class Act NY, Manhattan's award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, on Sunday, December 13th. Scroll down for photos!

Today, the Broadway vet chats exclusively with BWW and explains why joining FINDING NEVERLAND was like 'jumping onto a speeding train'. The actor also gives us a preview of his next exciting project, the stage adaptation of TUCK EVERLASTING, heading to Broadway next April.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that beginning Tuesday, November 3, the new hit musical, Finding Neverland, will change its performance schedule by adding a Sunday evening performance, which will replace the current Wednesday evening performance.

After today's news that Carolee Carmello will be reprising her role as 'Mae Tuck' in the Broadway run of TUCK EVERLASTING, the actress took to Twitter to assuage fans' fears of her imminent departure from Finding Neverland.

BroadwayWorld has just learned  that Broadway veteran Terrence Mann (Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserable) will take over the roles of "Charles Frohman" and "Captain Hook" in the smash hit musical Finding Neverland beginning Tuesday, September 29. Anthony Warlow, Neverland's current Frohman/Hook, will play his final performance on Sunday, September 27.

'The Irving Berlin Ragtime Revue' is being released today, September 15th.

The original cast album of 'The Irving Berlin Ragtime Revue,' which set box-office records at the 13th Street Theater, is being released September 15th.  To celebrate the release, members of the company  will be singing at Birdland, and on Barry Z's TV show, and promoting the album on radio programs hosted by George Bettinger, Moe Banshee,  Gail Kubik, and others.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway and Australian stage vet Anthony Warlow, who is currently starring  as 'Charles Frohman' and 'Captain Hook' in FINDING NEVERLAND, will remain in the show longer than expected. Warlow, who was previously sceduled to end his run on September 13, will continue through September 27.

'The Irving Berlin Ragtime Revue' is being released on September 15th. The show, which drew packed houses throughout its limited engagement at the 13th Street Theater, features 44 of the songs that helped make Irving Berlin the most successful songwriter in history. Some members of Deffaa's cast will perform at Birdland to help launch the new CD, which will be available via Amazon.com, CDBaby.com, iTunes, etc.

Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will continue its 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Broadway and Australian stage vet Anthony Warlow will return to Broadway when he steps into the roles of 'Charles Frohman' and 'Captain Hook', beginning today, July 10. Warlow will remain in the show until September 13, when Kelsey Grammer, who originated the role on Broadway, returns as Captain of the pirate ship.
