This morning Alec Baldwin spoke with host Brian Lehrer on WNYC's The Brian Lehrer Show about the late Elaine Stritch, who passed away yesterday morning at the age of 89. He spoke fondly of working with Stritch on 30 Rock, her career and her dynamic personality. You can listen to the full interview below.

Today we are saluting one of Broadway's brassiest, bawdiest and best-loved leading ladies in honor of her death this week, the one and only Elaine Stritch.

Theater Talk's previously scheduled encore of 'Elaine Stritch 88th Birthday Bash,' will now serve as a tribute to the great entertainer. It will air tomorrow, Friday night (Saturday morning), at 1 am on Thirteen. Thirteen will rebroadcast the show on Saturday at 6:30 AM.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: One of the most iconic Broadway leading ladies in theatrical history, in honor of her passing earlier today at the age of 89, let us revisit this career-spanning InDepth InterView with the one and only Elaine Stritch. As a personal aside, following the conclusion of the interview proper the conversation between Ms. Stritch and I continued for several more minutes and she emphatically relayed to me that this had been her favorite interview to date and that she was incredibly appreciative and pleased with being questioned about the topics chosen herein. Bay Street Theatre previously announced that its 23rd Annual Summer Gala would take place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf tonight, July 12, 2014 to benefit Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs. Crackle received a nomination today for Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" in the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards.

According to Deadline, Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Ferguson (BBC's THE WHITE QUEEN) has landed the female lead in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5, set to be directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and written by video game scribe Will Staples. Alec Baldwin is also in talks to join the cast as the head of the CIA.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents James Naughton in the world premiere of Cedars at the Fitzpatrick Main Stage in Stockbridge. Opening Night is July 26 at 8pm. Preview performances begin on July 23 at 8pm and the production closes August 9 at 8pm.

By popular demand, the Hollywood Bowl is once again transformed into the world's largest movie theater for the Grease Sing-A-Long Sunday, July 13, 2014. The show, hosted by Didi Conn ("Frenchy"), will feature the Paramount Pictures film, complete with subtitles so the whole audience can sing along.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that Jonah Rawitz of Buffalo Grove, IL (Adlai E. Stevenson High School), representing the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards, was awarded the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Broadway's Minskoff Theater. The Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress was presented to Jai'Len Josey, representing the Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards -- Shuler Hensley Awards.

The 6th Annual National High School Musical Awards presented the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor on Monday, June 30 at Broadway's Minskoff Theater, to Jai' Len Josey representing the Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards and Jonah Rawitz, representing the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards.

Today E! News reports that drugs were not involved in the incident and that the actor was apparently only under the influence of alcohol. '

A new Facebook video scam is making the rounds, claiming 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan has died following the roadway accident that killed his friend and writer 62-year-old James McNair, and hospitalized the actor this month. The rumors, as his spokesperson confirmed last week, are false, and has Morgan entered a rehab center.
