It's only a matter of time until musician, actor, playwright,author, and seductive beauty Storm Large becomes a super star and one would be wise to catch her current run at Feinstein's/54 Below while you can still experience her up close and personal.

Christine Ebersole who is currently appearing at Cafe Carlyle dropped in to say "hello" to her friends Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch during their Sunday night residency in Bemelmans .  Of course it wasn't just a "hello".  The lucky folks at The Carlyle got to hear some great singing by Christine, with Billy Stritch at the piano adding some vocal harmonies.  You never know who's going to come in and say "hello" to the sophisticated duo, and now that Billy is also Tony Bennett's pianist/conductor.

Beloved stage and screen star Tony Danza (TV's 'Taxi' & 'Who's The Boss'; Broadway's Honeymoon In Vegas) and his band made their first of 6 performances at Feinstein's/54 Below last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Tony Danza: Standards & Stories will play six performances only: July 26, 27, August 9, September 8 & 9 at 7pm and August 10 at 9:30pm.

Bernie Furshpan, operating partner of the Metropolitan Room served up Champagne at a reception to celebrate Julie Budd's Residency at the Cabaret. Lots of show biz friends turned out to congratulate Julie on her "new home".  Julie's first show is on May 14th and Richard Skipper her publicist announced the the opening performance is almost sold out.

Many show business greats have been honored by the Friars Club, and have performed before an audience of entertainment savvy members at the club house on 55th street. Nicole Henry was the latest addition to that list on Feb. 10. This great tradition was continued in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room with an event produced by Friar Historian Bruce Charet and co-produced by Friar Jeff Leibowitz. Singer/pianist Loston Harris was also on the bill. Rosario Dawson hosted the evening of great dining and great music.

Following her acclaimed concert 'Catch the Light,' 54 Below will feature a new show featuring the stunning Michele Lee making a rare appearance in New York for three nights only, continuing through February 1. Ms. Lee's new concert boasts an eclectic songbook, with classics she popularized as well songs from those magical composers, lyricists, and artists with whom she has worked and shared stages in every medium. Last night, April 3, Nicolas King made his solo debut at The Iridium NYC, under the musical baton of legendary Mike Renzi and the Mike Renzi Trio. The show delivered Broadway ballads, swinging favorites and, of course, selections from the Great American Songbook.

Mike Renzi looked over his eyeglasses at the elite audience at don't tell mamas, nodded to bassist Chip Jackson and drummer Ray Marchica and then opened the starting gate to a highly charged and expertly crafted 75 minutes of Nicolas King displaying his awesome vocal proficiency.
