Keach and Cox Kick Off National Frost/Nixon Tour TONIGHT in Des Moines, IA

Tonight, September 30th the first performance of the national Frost/Nixon tour will begin in Des Moines, IA The 2007 Tony Award® -nominated new play by Peter Morgan, the award-winning author of The Last King of Scotland and The Queen, will run at the Des Moines Civic Center through October 5th.

The the stars of the upcoming national tour of The Donmar Warehouse production of Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, met the press on Friday, September 19th at the New 42nd Street Studios. Award-winning stage and screen actor Stacy Keach takes on the role of President Richard Nixon and is joined by Alan Cox as David Frost. Goodman Theatre launches its 2007/2008 season with Passion Play: a cycle in three parts by Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl. British director, actor and teacher Mark Wing-Davey helms this triptych that addresses the thorny relationship between politics and religion, lust and dogma, and perception and reality, over 425 years and three controversial, politically-charged eras. Passion Play runs September 15 - October 21.

The Manhattan Theatre Club production of TRANSLATIONS by Brian Friel begins previews tonight, January 4 at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street) in preparation for a Thursday, January 25 opening night. The co-production with McCarter Theatre Center is directed by Tony Awardâ-winner Garry Hynes (Beauty Queen of Leenane).

Costabile, Buggy, Hughes, Etc. Cast in MTC's Translations

Full casting, as well as the creative team, has been announced for the upcoming Manhattan Theatre Club production of Brian Friel's Translations, which will begin previews at the Biltmore Theatre on January 4th and open on January 25th, 2007
