Berkeley Repertory Theatre celebrates the holiday season by extending the run of its new hit show: The White Snake, a magical romance from Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman, will now play through December 30. Due to the demand for tickets, ssssseven performances have been added just after Christmas - including three matinees.

In a special episode of ABC's PRIVATE PRACTICE airing tonight titled 'The World According to Jake,' when Jake learns he will have to meet Henry's social worker, he worries about an incident from his past. Also on the episode, Addison is suspicious of Jake's patient. The episode airs 10 p.m. Wednesday. Next week the series will return to its regular Tuesday at 10 p.m. slot. Get a first look below!

Second Thought Theatre announced today that Kelsey Head will be the company's new Co-Artistic Director. Head, who joins current Co-Artistic Director Steven Walters, will begin work with STT immediately. This announcement comes as the company is preparing to announce its 2013 season.

The Northern Stage Company of White River Junction, Vermont announced today that the Board of Directors and Founding Artistic Director Brooke Ciardelli have agreed that the current production will be her last with the company. Ms. Ciardelli has led the artistic team at Northern Stage since its formation in 1997, guiding it through 16 seasons of critically acclaimed professional theater. She has served in many capacities for the Company including Artistic Director since its inception, director of more than 50 percent of the main stage productions, as well as serving as Managing Director and CEO for many seasons and as a member of the Board of Directors.

Aurora Theatre Company continues its 21sr season with the World Premiere of OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN from acclaimed playwright Anthony Clarvoe (Pick Up Ax, Show and Tell, Ambition Facing West). In OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN, three generations of family gather over three holidays in a home none of them expects to long survive the rising sea. They do chores, text each other, and dance. They watch the birds, and watch each other, while struggling for loyalty, legacy, and turf. By the end, everything has shifted and a new generation is in charge, but of what? OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN addresses the changing tides of communication, gender roles, and society in a place where even the notions of home and family remain fluid. GAP director Allen McKelvey helms this six character play.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin announced today the cast for Putting It Together, running January 11 - February 3, 2013 at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast includes Diana Sheehan, John Campione, Bob Hess, Alex Organ and Sarah Elizabeth Smith.

Tony Award winner Deanna Dunagan will guest star on the November 20th episode of the ABC drama PRIVATE PRACTICE.

Over the past seven years, DCNT has awarded scholarships totaling $206,000 to outstanding dancers from age thirteen through graduate school. There is no residency requirement. DCNT scholarship recipients receive funding, tuition waivers or both to attend prestigious summer intensives and workshops that encompass every dance style.

An Iliad, the stunning new show starring Henry Woronicz, has extended its run due to popular demand. Two performances have been added - at 8 PM on November 15 and at 7 PM on November 18 - but the show must close on November 18.
