Theatre Kavanah to Bring THE CHOSEN to Town Hall Theater, 3/7

Theatre Kavanah, a Burlington-based company devoted to exploring the intricacies of the Jewish experience, will bring a staged reading of Aaron Posner and Chaim Potok's The Chosen to Town Hall Theater on Thursday, March 7th.

Dialogue with Three Chords to Kick Off 2013 Season with THE ROUGH AND SWEET QUARTET, 2/28

Dialogue with Three Chords presents 'The Rough and Sweet Quartet' from playwright Stephen Gracia to launch their 2013 season of independent theatre. 'The Rough and Sweet Quartet' includes four new plays from Gracia, all directed by Michael LoPorto. The plays are 'about love, lust, transformation, drinks with the devil, and the stories we tell each other' says Gracia. The performance is on February 28 at 8pm downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's pub on 63 Carmine Street in Manhattan. Admission is free with $3 suggested donation.

WaterTower Theatre's 2013 Spotlight Gala will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Addison Conference Center. The fundraising Gala is chaired by Barbara Daseke. The theme for this year's Gala is Blues in the Night and will feature entertaining blues and jazz music by Denise Lee, Cedric Neal, the Tu-Tones and the Briefcase Blues.

Magnolia Pictures Announces Acquisition of Comedy BEST MAN DOWN

The Wagner/Cuban Company's Magnolia Pictures announced today that they've acquired North American rights to BEST MAN DOWN, a warmly funny new comedy from writer/director Ted Koland, starring Justin Long, Jess Weixler, Tyler Labine, Addison Timlin and Frances O'Connor.

Comedy Rules Northern Stage's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, Now thru 2/24

Berkeley Rep Presents GEORGE GERSHWIN ALONE for 18 Performances in June

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced a limited engagement of George Gershwin Alone, a play with music that invites audiences to enjoy an evening with a great composer. This celebrated production plays two weeks only - June 8 through June 23 - on the intimate Thrust Stage. Aurora Theatre to Continue 21st Season with New Translation of THE ARSONISTS, 4/5-5/12
