Ambassador Theatre Group's Broadway revival of the New York City Center production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer Prize-winning Sunday in the Park with George re-opens the historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th Street) on Broadway tonight, February 23rd, for a 10-week engagement. Directed by Sarna Lapine, performances will play through Sunday, April 23rd.

In commemoration of the opening of the 41st Broadway theatre, Sunday in the Park with George has announced the show will offer the front row orchestra seats to preview performances (February 11 - February 22) at $41, to celebrate the re-opening of Hudson Theatre as it becomes Broadway's 41st theater.

The New Group's production of Sam Shepard's Pulitzer & Obie prize-winning play, Buried Child, directed by Scott Elliott, and starring the multi award-winning, international star Ed Harris (whose credits include the first hit series of Westworld as the mysterious Man in Black, Pollock, The Hours and The Truman Show), is now extending its critically acclaimed West End run at Trafalgar Studios until Saturday 4 March 2017.

Ambassador Theatre Group has just announced that the Broadway revival of Sunday in the Park with George, starring Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford will re-open the historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th Street) on Broadway this winter for a strictly limited 10-week engagement.

The New Group announces additional casting for productions coming up in the company's 2016-2017 Season.

The New Group's critically acclaimed Off-Broadway revival of Buried Child, directed by Scott Elliott, will transfer to Trafalgar Studios in London for a strictly limited season from 14 November - 18 February 2017, with press night on 1 December.

Charlotte Hope (Myranda in Game of Thrones, Allied, A United Kingdom), Jack Fortune (King Lear, Route Irish, Sparkling Cyanide), Barnaby Kay (A Streetcar Named Desire, The Real Thing, Wuthering Heights) and Gary Shelford (Twelfth Night, Angry Young Man) join the previously announced multi award-winning, international star Ed Harris (forthcoming HBO series from J.J. Abrams & Jonathan Nolan; Westworld, Pollock, The Hours and The Truman Show), Golden Globe winner Amy Madigan (Twice in a Lifetime, Roe vs. Wade), and Jeremy Irvine (War Horse, The Railway Man, Now is Good) to complete the cast in Sam Shepard's Pulitzer & Obie prize winning play, Buried Child, following a critically acclaimed New York run earlier this year.

One of the finest actors of his generation, Jeremy Irvine (Steven Spielberg's War Horse, The Railway Man, Now is Good and forthcoming films Fallen, Billionaire Boys Club, and This Beautiful Fantastic) will make his West End debut in Sam Shepard's Pulitzer & Obie prize winning play, Buried Child.

For the first time, the multi award-winning, international star Ed Harris (Pollock, The Hours, The Truman Show and the forthcoming HBO series from J.J. Abrams & Jonathan Nolan; Westworld) will appear on the West End stage, to reprise his role of Dodge in Sam Shepard's Pulitzer & Obie prize winning play, Buried Child, following a critically acclaimed New York run earlier this year. Harris will be joined by fellow Golden Globe winner, Amy Madigan (Twice in a Lifetime, Roe vs. Wade), who will also reprise her role of Halie, with further casting to be announced in due course.

The Ambassador Theatre Group is to produce a brand new stage musical based on the life of the legendary Frank Sinatra, in partnership with Stewart Till and Frank Sinatra Enterprises.  The show, which is planned to open in 2018, will feature a number of timeless hit songs from Sinatra's incredible catalogue of over 1400 tracks recorded during his illustrious career. Script development for the Frank Sinatra musical is planned to start shortly.

Gerard McCarthy (Bruce) and Oliver Wilson (Christopher) join the previously announced, Robert Bathurst (Robert), to complete the cast of Blue/Orange. The second show in Theatre Royal Brighton Productions inaugural season, directed by Christopher Luscombe, Joe Penhall's Blue/Orange will tour nationally from 13 September 2012, before transferring to the West End. Theatre Royal Brighton Productions presents the second show in their debut season, Joe Penhall's multi award winning play, BLUE/ORANGE, directed by Artistic Director Christopher Luscombe (The Madness of George III, Spamalot in the West End) with Robert Bathurst (Cold Feet, Wild at Heart, Downton Abbey) in the role of Robert.
