It feels like Christmas already with more casting news from Fox's upcoming broadcast of A Christmas Story Live!

Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski ( Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, 30 Rock ) and Emmy Award nominee Chris Diamantopoulos ( Good Girls Revolt, Silicon Valley, Episodes ) have been cast in featured roles in FOX's live musical event, A CHRISTMAS STORY LIVE!, airing Sunday, Dec. 17 (7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Krakowski will play Miss Shields, the teacher of nine-year-old Ralphie Parker ; and Diamantopoulos will portray Ralphie's dad.

The Guthrie Theater announced that Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein has been elected as president of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT), the largest professional theater association of its kind in the United States, boasting 72 member Theatres in 29 states and the District of Columbia. Today, Telsey & Company Casting has announced a search for a young actor to play the lead role of 'Ralphie'. The casting description reads: RALPHIE - Male, 9 - 12, Caucasian, Possibly a bit pudgy; a regular kid ... Actor must be an excellent singer and able to carry a show.

At yesterday's TCA press tour held in Los Angeles, FOX Chairman and CEO Dana Walden revealed that the broadcast will air sometime in late 2018.
