Little Angel Theatre has announced its Autumn /Winter Season which includes a major new adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book reuniting adaptors Barb Jungr and Samantha Lane (who also directs) following their celebrated collaboration on the Olivier-nominated The Smartest Giant in Town, also written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

Little Angel Theatre have announced the next two productions in their digital Puppetry Sofa Series: Flyboy and the Robot by Matthew Robins, and an adaptation of Ross Collinsa??s Therea??s A Bear On My Chair by Toby Olié.

Ten UK school and youth theatre companies have been chosen to bring their productions of ten brand new plays to the 2019 National Theatre Connections Festival, which takes place in the Dorfman Theatre from 25-29 June.

Fuel in association with Stratford Circus Arts Centre presents Gyre & Gimble's The Hartlepool Monkey. The legend of a monkey who was hanged as a French spy is brought to life through clever puppetry in a timely tale exploring xenophobia, written by Carl Grose and created by Carl Grose, Finn Caldwell and Toby Oli . Sally Cookson's enchanting and inventive production of Cinderella: A Fairytale runs at St. James Theatre until 26 January 2013, with press night on 18 December 2012. The cast is Craig Edwards (Step Mother/ Father), Thomas Eccleshare (Prince), Tom Godwin (Step Brother), Lisa Kerr (Ella) and Lucy Tuck (Step Sister).
