Echo Theater's WHAT HAPPENED WHEN Gets Third and Final Run with New Cast

Brooding, compelling, funny and startling. Memories unravel and dark truths are revealed in a haunting ghost story by Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Daniel Talbott(Slipping) when The Echo Theater Company's West Coast premiere returns in a third and final rendition (following productions in April and July) with a third set of ensemble members. This time round, Chris Fields directs Ian Bamberg,Matthew Gallenstein and, at alternate performances,Kenzie Caplan and Mara Klein, for a Sept. 27 opening at Atwater Village Theatre.

Applications Now Open For 2019 Residencies At SPACE On Ryder Farm

SPACE on Ryder Farm--a nonprofit residency program for artists and activists located on a 223 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, NY--announced that applications for all of its 2019 residency programs are now open for submission. Due to increasing demand, SPACE announced in July that it was changing its submission process to allow the organization sufficient time for review.

Miranda Theatre Company Announces Pop Up Productions

The Miranda Theatre Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and production of new plays, announces Pop-Up Productions - an innovative new theatregoing experience. Debuting this fall, the new format will offer a disruption from traditional seasonal programming with a variety of limited engagement productions at venues throughout New York City. Each Pop-Up Production will be announced six weeks in advance or sooner with simultaneous online ticket sales at a set ticket price of $25 (and some at no cost at all). Audiences will be treated to a free drink and/or edible delight while experiencing an array of new work by fresh artists pushing the live performance model. As the landscape of Off-Broadway changes, Miranda takes on the industry with a fresh idea, ushering in a new age of Off-Broadway theater.

TDF Open Doors to Present 2018 Graduation

Sundance Institute Announces 2018 Theatre Lab Acting Company And Creative Advisors

Sundance Institute's Theatre Lab kicks off on May 6th, and today announced this year's participating acting company and creative advisors. The Lab, which runs through May 27 at the Fellah Hotel outside Marrakech, Morocco, is supervised by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, and is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community, alternating locations between Sundance Resort in Utah and a venue in the Middle East/North African region, as part of a multi-year commitment to international work and a means of facilitating cultural exchange between artists writing in English and Arabic.
