The US Premiere of BLEACH by Dan Ireland-Reeves will extend for an additional 2 weeks. This award-winning underground hit, seen throughout the UK as well as in Paris, Stockholm and Dublin, made its US premiere in January in an intimate, immersive production performed for an audience of 10.

New York Deaf Theatre (NYDT) closes their 39th season with an accessible performance of EVERY BRILLIANT THING by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe. Transport Group has announced that its annual A Toast to the Artist gala will honor Tony Award-winning orchestrator Michael Starboin and composer Carmel Dean with the Transporting American Theatre Award. The evening takes place Monday, March 11 at 6:30pm at The Current, Pier 59 @ Chelsea Piers, and includes a cocktail party, seated dinner, performances, dessert reception, and silent and live auctions. The Transporting American Theatre Award recognizes significant contributions to the American Theatre. Past recipients of the Transporting American Theatre Award include Dick Scanlan, Mary- Mitchell Campbell, Michael John LaChiusa, Gretchen Shugart, Barbara Whitman, Beth Williams, Sue Frost, Christian Borle, Paul Huntley, Douglas Carter Beane, Lewis Flinn, A.R. Provocateur Thomas Bradshaw revisits his incendiary 2008 play SOUTHERN PROMISES in a new production helmed by The Flea's Artistic Director, Niegel Smith. SOUTHERN PROMISES begins previews Monday, March 11 with opening night slated for Sunday, March 24.

Gurney's LOVE LETTERS, the third production of the inaugural season of the new Alan & Diane Lieberman Theater & the JCAT's 12th season, at the Feldenkreis/Hanono Cultural Center at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC/Sanford L. Ziff Campus in North Miami Beach, Florida. Running from February 6-17, 2019, LOVE LETTERS is directed by JCAT's Artistic Director, Michael Andron. Lighting Design is by Zachary Pitchman, with Costume Design by Carole Barou-Mootoo. The production is presented through the MARJCC's Cultural Arts Department.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Broadway debut of 'Love Letters', a Play by A.R. Gurney, Theatre at the Center (TATC) will showcase one exclusive performance on Sunday afternoon, February 3, at 2:30 p.m. This production, under the guidance of artistic advisor Linda Fortunato, will star Phil Potempa, a noted newspaper columnist for the Post Tribune and Crista Zivanovic, features editor of The Times of Northwest Indiana. The performance proceeds will benefit Theatre at the Center in Munster.

Alan Alda is best known for playing Hawkeye Pierce and writing many of the episodes on the classic TV series M*A*S*H, the final episode of which was seen by more than 105 million people, still a record audience.

Gurney's 1988 Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, for one weekend only. Dates and show times are Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, February 10 at 2 p.m.

Impeaching America is an allegorical political satire about AMERICA who is confused, frustrated, disillusioned and just plain tired.  His solution is to impeach himself.  He wants to quit, but he wants to quit with Honor and with the Due Process as provided for within his document of creation: the Constitution.  He initiates the proceeding by selecting a Bi-Bunal (he wanted to get three, but for many reasons, no one else wanted to do it) consisting of Godd and Satann to determine his/our fate.  He is defended by three attorneys: a liberal, a conservative and a voice of reason.

Earlier this month, six time Tony nominee Danny Burstein and Christian Dante White  assumed the role of Alfred P. Doolittle and Freddy Eynsford-Hill in Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady, directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Building on 40 years of producing powerful contemporary theatre, Studio Theatre is pleased to announce a new class of commissioned playwrights and directors to Studio R&D, its incubator to support the creation of new work from inception to first production. Incoming Studio R&D artists are playwrights James Fritz, James Ijames, Steph Del Rosso, and Emily Schwend, as well as directors Carl Cofield, Lila Neugebauer, and Eric Ruffin. These exciting talents from the US and UK will have Studio's full support in creating aesthetically diverse new work to be presented in future seasons and introduced into the international repertoire. As they create Studio-specific works, commissioned artists will visit Studio to get to know its theatres, programming, and audiences in person.
