Earlier this month the West Side Story Shark with perfect pitch presented a program that was pitch perfect.

Coppell Arts Center will bring the hits of A.J. and Jim Croce to Coppell on Saturday, February 26 at 8 PM. Titled Croce Plays Croce, this concert celebrates the legacy of singer-songwriter-guitarist Jim Croce as A.J. plays through his father’s songs, his own tunes, and songs that influenced the two of them. 

Following two critically acclaimed tours and huge popular demand, Footloose The Musical is back and better than ever! The musical which was postponed in 2020 bursts back onto the stage this year and will visit Theatre Royal Brighton from Monday 21 to Saturday 26 February 2022. .

Influenced by classic psychological horror, The Shining, “redruM” interpolates the pulsating chorus melody of Kanye West’s “Heartless,” personally approved by Ye, who shares co-writing credit for the track with Sorana.

On Friday, February 18 the virtual performance begins at 7:00 p.m. and will be available for viewing any time thereafter. Ticket holders for the virtual performance will receive a link prior to the performance.

The National Tour of Ain't Too Proud officially kicked off at the Kennedy Center, after cancelling 15 performances due to COVID-19. Performances began on December 28 and continued through January 16.

On January 16, forty-two metro area high school acts competed in the semi-final round of the 12th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. The acts were divided into four categories (vocal, instrumental, dance and specialty) and adjudicated by fifteen St. Louis performing arts professionals, each representing the respective categories.

Maybe it's because we're in year three of a pandemic, maybe it's because my degree will be complete in ten months but there's something about this movie, the narrative, the theme, the message and even the soundtrack that just sparks inspiration.

Allison Moorer has released the titled track off of her digital EP, Wish For You. The EP is inspired by Moorer’s son, John Henry Earle, who is now 11-years-old and was diagnosed with autism when he was 23-months old. Wish For You features songs that Moorer wrote around melodies that John Henry has created.

“Heaven Come Home,” a new musical in development, will be presented as an in-person staged reading on Saturday, January 15 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Weber Fine Arts Building, located on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus. This reading is a collaboration between UNO Theatre and Megan Ann Rasmussen Productions.
