On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television released 'Glee: The Music, Volume 1,' the first in a series of soundtracks that feature some of the music heard in the first season of the critically acclaimed series on FOX. 'Glee: The Music, Volume 1' features spectacular renditions of several chart-topping hits, including Queen's 'Somebody to Love' and Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline.'

The new GLEE episode 'Ballad' episode of GLEE airs tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. You can see some sneak peek images of the hit show right here on BWW!

Marilyn: Forever Blonde, The Marilyn Monroe Story in Her Own Words and Music, the acclaimed, award-winning one woman play featuring 17 songs comprising the life of Marilyn Monroe, is to get its West End premiere at Leicester Square Theatre from Tuesday October 20 to Wednesday November 18. An official opening is set for Thursday October 22 at 7.30pm.

Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television today released select songs on iTunes featured in this week's episode of GLEE, including cast versions of Diana Ross and Lionel Richie's 'Endless Love,' The Pretenders' 'I'll Stand By You,' Jennifer Paige's 'Crush,' Paul Anka's '(You're) Having My Baby' and Bill Withers' 'Lean On Me,' as well as a cast mash-up of The Police's 'Don't Stand So Close To Me' with Gary Puckett and the Union Gap's 'Young Girl.'

For most any actor, there is nothing better than performing on Broadway night after night alongside some of the industry's most celebrated talent. Despite speculation that the previous overload of Glee downloads would effect album release sales, Glee: The Music, Vol. 1, a collection of 17 songs featured on the TV show, officially debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts today. The disk was released by Columbia Records last Wednesday, November 3.
