As previously reported, Hugh Jackman will star as P.T. Barnum in the upcoming musical film 'The Greatest Showman on Earth' written by Jenny Bicks (Sex and the City) and produced by Twentieth Century Fox. The studio has been in talks with music sensation Mika to compose the soundtrack. Yesterday, the singer spoke with New York Magazine to discuss his creative process and, though tight-lipped, confirmed a possible contribution to the film.

GLEE, the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.

Celebrating of the release of 'Marcy and Zina: The Album,' created by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, Tony Award winner Alan Cumming, Jill Abramovitz, Stephen Bogardus, and Elena Shaddow will perform in a November 2nd concert at the Birdland.

Fox television series GLEE had its series premiere Wednesday, September 9 at 9pm EST. The Ryan Murphy series had a special sneak preview on May 19.

Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young will guest star as a 'former wood shop instructor with a voice of gold' on the upcoming FOX series GLEE. Lloyd Young described the role 'as great fun, the whole cast is top notch and full of talented film and theatre actors.' His guest starring episode will air Wednesday, Sept. 16th.
