Veteran director Jerry Elison loves the musical, "Fiddler on the Roof," and when it plays Aug. 3-18 at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre, it will mark his fifth time directing the musical theatre masterpiece of a dairy farmer living a humble life in 1905 Tsarist Russia, struggling to preserve his beloved traditions when his five willful daughters have hearts and minds of their own.
