Previews have begun for BETWEEN GODS AND KINGS: A New Rock Show based on Euripides' classic greek tragedy, The Bacchae. The immersive and energetic production began its weekly party-like run at BEDLAM BAR (40 Avenue C) in the East Village last night. It will play every Thursday at 10pm until May 9.  thirtywhatever, a new musical revue filled with songs about what happens between the time you say goodbye to 29 and hello to 40, will be presented at the Laurie Beechman Theatre from January 29 -- February 20, 2017.

Two distinctive pieces of theater - a drama about pioneering gay illustrator J.C. Leyendecker, and a musical comedy version of the Greek classic Electra - will be featured in this year's New York New Works Theatre Festival, August 29 through September 14.

flexCO, a new theater company dedicated to presenting plays in an entirely new, fresh, and relevant way, launches with the world premiere THE FLYING DOCTOR BY MOLIERE (OVER AND OVER AND OVER), adapted from Moliere by the new theater company flexCO and directed by Michael Doliner. THE FLYING DOCTOR BY MOLIERE (OVER AND OVER AND OVER) begins performances on Wednesday, June 8 for a limited engagement through Saturday, July 2.

Directed by Terry Schreiber, Summer and Smoke will be performed at the T. Schreiber Theatre, located at 151 West 26th Street, on the 7th Floor from tonight, May 6 - June 6. Member of the press are invited as of Saturday, May 9th.
