Jeff Whiting (Bullets Over Broadway) directs LOCH LOMOND starring Jeremy Hays (Phantom), Alison Luff (Matilda, Wicked), Ginna Claire Mason (Wicked), and Perry Sherman (Fun Home) in a new musical that brings to life the most famous lyrics of all time: "You take the high road and I'll take the low road."

Featuring book and lyrics by Maggie Herskowitz (The Boy, The King, and The Flower) and music by Neil Douglas Reilly (Gods & Kings) this new Celtic musical brings to life a little-known legend which inspired the most famous lyrics of all time. With the Scottish uprising of 1745 raging around them, Lyle (Jeremy Hays) and James (Perry Sherman) must reconcile their desire for freedom with their love for the women they leave behind, a love which will inspire a Scottish song sung the world over: Loch Lomond.

Loch Lomond is being produced by Hard G Inc./Gina Hecht and Kathryn Fray for an invitation only industry presentation on March 18.

"It's a powerful story of love and sacrifice," Whiting commented. "This cast brings a remarkable passion to this tale through the perfectly-blended score, filled with traditional Scottish folk-ballads and a Celtic-inspired contemporary music."

Whiting has assembled a top-notch creative team including: Tony-Award winning Scenic Designer Beowulf Boritt (Act One, The Scottsboro Boys), Costume Designer Michael McDonald (Hair, The Public), Sound Designer Peter Fitzgerald (Priscilla), Music Supervisor David Loud (Scottsboro Boys, Visit), Casting Director Tara Rubin Casting - Kaitlin Shaw CSA (School of Rock, LES MISERABLES), Music Director James Dobinson (Clinton), Dialect Coach Liz Hayes, and Stage Manager Jason Brouillard.
