Review: THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGE)[REVISED][AGAIN] at DreamWrights
by Sandra Harberger - Mar 16, 2026
The show opens by immediately breaking the fourth wall as the audience is introduced to our actors for the evening. Joseph and Andrew are lead by Ryan, a Shakespearean scholar with questionable credentials, and their goal is performing the entire canon of Shakespeare in one night. The energetic trio start us off with the well-known tragedy of “Romeo and Juliet” filled with raunchy innuendos, puns, improv, and over the top physical comedy. The pace and hilarity speeds up from there leaving the audience and the actors out of breath by intermission. The second act focuses on Hamlet after everyone had a well earned break.
Review: THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME at DreamWrights
by Sandra Harberger - Mar 24, 2025
If you liked the 2009 novel, then you will love this play. The story centers on Christopher, a teenager diagnosed with Autism. But, this isn’t a story about Autism. This story is about Christopher’s mission to uncover the truth about the death of his neighbor’s dog. He is quite the detective. Genevieve McLain gave an impressive and authentic performance of Christopher and how he sees the world. Bea Gilbert’s soothing voice was a perfect choice for Siobhan as she guides Christopher through this tough time in his life. The two worked well together.
Review: THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF AMERICA (ABRIDGED) at DreamWrights
by Sandra Harberger - Feb 2, 2024
Playing themselves with a minimal set design, the actors utilized an improv style packed with pop culture references to takes us through the big moments in history. I was especially impressed with their use of impersonations, accents, and physical comedy. They kept the show going at a fast clip, and I was feeling out of breath right a long with them. Comedy is hard physical work!

Last season, the reality show captured the aftermath of Melissa's heartbreak, as she broke down in her mother's arms [Joan Rivers] as she tried to cope with the shocking news of her then-boyfriend's [Jason Zimmerman] double life. Come to find out, Duncan's mother was one of the first girls to work for Playboy in the UK - and she eventually became a Bunny Recruitment Officer. Will her mother approve?
