Ophelia's Jump Productions (OJP) is proud to launch their 10th Season with Carmel Dean's musical, Well-Behaved Women. The production will be performed at the Ophelia's Jump Studio Theater, located at 2009 Porterfield Way, Suite H, in Upland, from February 11 through March 12, 2023.

Silent Sky, a play by Lauren Gunderson. will be presented by Sierra Madre Playhouse in a production directed by Barbara Schofield.

IVRT will present three delightful stories over some great Italian food at Eddie's Eatery as it launches a new IVRT Supper Club featuring the touching comedy 'Our Lady of the Tortilla,' the humorous play 'I'm Not Rappaport' and the charming Sondheim musical 'Marry Me A Little.' Ticket holders will enjoy a play with a three-course dinner.

The woman known as La Tules is the 'madrina' of Santa Fe. (The Oxford Dictionary defines 'madrina' as 'godmother.') She is the proprietor of the local gambling den and watering hole. When she plays herself, she uses her own lucky deck and never loses. She resides in her home in Burro Alley, off the grand Santa Fe Plaza, with her two adopted granddaughters and her Indigenous housekeeper.

Ophelia's Jump Productions is re-opening its intimate venue in Upland, with a live entertainment performed outdoors in front of the theatre.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's first Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical, IN THE HEIGHTS is now on stage in a brand new Broadway-caliber regional production presented by Musical Theatre West at the Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts in Long Beach through November 5. Told as a series of interweaving vignettes about the highs and lows---and the dreams and realities---of life in the Washington Height neighborhood of New York City, IN THE HEIGHTS offers audiences a very likable glimpse into a specific multi-generational Latinx experience that not only feels fresh and new but also feels remarkably relatable no matter what background you come from. Miranda---armed with first-hand knowledge of living in such an enclave and with the obvious imbedded DNA of a musical theatre aficionado---easily made the material both universally appealing and yet refreshingly unique. In its own way, seeing IN THE HEIGHTS now feels very much like looking back at an earlier piece of work from a now more evolved artist and seeing signs of the burgeoning genius still to come---and just how far that genius really grew.

Exciting, passionate and historical. That's how Michael Balderrama, resident director and choreographer of In The Heights, has described the cast for the Second National Tour of the musical, who started rehearsals in New York last month. A brand new cast has been gathered to bring the award-winning show across the States. 'All of them are fresh, from top to bottom, there's no one who has been on the show before,' Balderrama explains. 'They're young, passionate and excited about being part of ‘In The Heights'. All of them are people who are just inspired by the show'
