BIO
Angela (Ang) Bey (they/them) is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist from Philadelphia. Their art favors complex, difficult inquiries about society - centering the lives of Black folx. They create to inspire decolonization, joy, honesty, and healing -- believing it is our duty to build utopia we may not live to see. Ang is co-artistic director of Wings of Paper Theatre Co. and Shoe Box Theatre Collective.
