Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 31 opening of Neil Simon's comedy Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Saint Michael's Playhouse in Colchester, Vermont. Laughter on the 23rd Floor is directed by Catherine Doherty who has directed numerous SMP productions including You Can't Take It With You, See How They Run, The 39 Steps.
Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 3 opening of Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps at Saint Michael's Playhouse. The critically acclaimed 2007 Olivier Award-winner for Best New Comedy is the second production of the Playhouse's 2019 summer theater season.

'In times like these we can all use a couple hours of non-stop laughter and See How They Run offers exactly that. Audience members laugh heartily from beginning to end at the hilarious hijinks and madcap mayhem of this perfectly written British farce,' said Chuck Tobin, Producing Artistic Director, Saint Michael's Playhouse. This is the grand finale of our 71st season,' Tobin continued, 'and it's British comedy at its finest.' Opening Wednesday August 1, 2018, evening performances are August 1 - 4, 7 - 11 (8pm), with matinee performances August 4 and 11 (2pm).
