See 'ROPES' now on stage at Two River Theater in Red Bank through March 20th. Written by Barbara Colio, translated into English by Maria Alexandria Beech and directed by Lisa Rothe, the show stars Varin Ayala, Gabriel Gutierrez and Luis Moreno.

 Jewish Plays Project (JPP), a development organization committed to putting bold, progressive Jewish conversations on world stages, continues its annual Open: Festival of play readings and workshops at the 14th Street Y including four new full-length plays and one new musical by Margot Connolly, Sarah Gancher, Gary Jaffe, David Hein & Irene Sankoff, and Sam Lahne.

JEWISH PLAYS PROJECT and Artistic Director David Winitsky, are pleased to announce the exciting line-up of OPEN: The Festival of New Jewish Theatre. The festival officially opened Tuesday night with a special presentation of True Bible Studies by Robert Askins, directed by Benjamin Kamine as part of Into the Night: Downtown's Tikkun Leil Shavuot at The 14th Street Y. The line-up includes readings of new plays by Ben Gassman, Tom Block, M.J. Kaufman, Lenelle Moise, Lila Feinberg and the featured workshop production of G-d's Honest Truth by Renee Calarco, directed by David Winitsky. OPEN: The Festival of New Jewish Theatre plays a limited engagement June 13th through June 29th, 2014 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street, New York, NY 10003). 'Pinkolandia' is an engaging story about a family living in Wisconsin after being exiled from Chile. This wonderful and thought provoking piece is now being performed at Two River Theater in Red Bank through March 23rd.

Theatre 167 will bring its critically acclaimed JACKSON HEIGHTS TRILOGY to the Queens Museum for a site-specific performance on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2:00-5:00PM.

Theatre 167 will present the Manhattan Premiere of THE JACKSON HEIGHTS TRILOGY, a rotating repertory of three plays about the Queens, New York neighborhood famous for being the world's most diverse community. Created by 18 playwrights and starring a company of 37 actors playing 93 multicultural roles, the plays were conceived and will be directed by Ari Laura Kreith. The trilogy will inaugurate the newly renovated 777 Theatre, located at 777 8th Avenue at 47th Street beginning February 8th. While each of the plays has been presented individually in Queens to critical acclaim, this is the first time any of these plays will be seen in Manhattan and the first time they are being presented together in repertory, where audiences can see them individually or all in one day.
