In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, the Hope for Depression Research Foundation (HDRF) will hold their inaugural Teen Race of Hope to Defeat Depression with teen celebrity Grand Marshal Grier Hammond Henchy in Manhattan at Pier 40 Hudson River Park on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
The Hangar's Acting Out on the Hangar Stage, Community Charades Challenge took place on Sunday, October 25. With the support of the community - through donations to four teams of participants, the purchase of auction items, and ticket sales - the Hangar was able to raise $25,000 to help support the theatre's artistic and education programs.

With the support of the community - through donations to four teams of participants, the purchase of auction items, and ticket sales - the Hangar was able to reach its fundraising goal for the event, which supports the theatre's educational programming, raising a total of $26,000. This fall, students from rivals The Ohio State University and University of Michigan will compete to raise funds for Rebuilding Together during HGTV and DIY Network's Raise A Roof College Challenge. From today, Sept. 24 through Wednesday, Oct. 31, student groups from the two universities can register at HGTV.com/collegechallenge or at an on-campus kick-off event to participate in the competition to earn a $25,000 donation for their local Rebuilding Together affiliate in Central Ohio and Detroit. Each team will have until Friday, Dec. 7, to raise money during the campaign. The students' efforts will also support ongoing outreach to rally volunteers for Rebuilding Together's mission to preserve affordable homeownership.

'All My Children' stars Walt Willey and Bobbie Eakes will co-host the Grand Finale Celebration of 'ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares' in New York City on March 13, 2011. Mr. Willey and Ms. Eakes have been part of the benefit since the very first production in celebration of 'All My Children's' 35th anniversary show. Cameron Mathison had previously been announced as host but is now unable to travel to New York due to a scheduling conflict.
