In New York, Rattlestick Theater announces a meaningful tribute to one of Off-Broadway's greatest champions, renaming its West Village home in honor of the late playwright Terrence McNally, while Broadway Cares celebrates the generosity of the theater community with a record-breaking fundraising run on Governors Island. Across the Atlantic, the beloved West End hit Paddington the Musical prepares to bring its score to audiences worldwide with an eagerly anticipated cast recording release. And speaking of reaching audiences worldwide, BroadwayWorld announces a major expansion of its multilingual platform, now available in 20 languages ahead of a landmark year for international visitors to the U.S. Meanwhile, in Chicago, the theater community is grappling with hard questions about legacy, accountability, and who gets to define excellence, as the city's storied Jeff Awards face growing calls for reform.

The Hangar's Acting Out on the Hangar Stage, Community Charades Challenge took place on Sunday, October 25. With the support of the community - through donations to four teams of participants, the purchase of auction items, and ticket sales - the Hangar was able to raise $25,000 to help support the theatre's artistic and education programs.

This fall, students from rivals The Ohio State University and University of Michigan will compete to raise funds for Rebuilding Together during HGTV and DIY Network's Raise A Roof College Challenge. From today, Sept. 24 through Wednesday, Oct. 31, student groups from the two universities can register at HGTV.com/collegechallenge or at an on-campus kick-off event to participate in the competition to earn a $25,000 donation for their local Rebuilding Together affiliate in Central Ohio and Detroit. Each team will have until Friday, Dec. 7, to raise money during the campaign. The students' efforts will also support ongoing outreach to rally volunteers for Rebuilding Together's mission to preserve affordable homeownership.

'All My Children' stars Walt Willey and Bobbie Eakes will co-host the Grand Finale Celebration of 'ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares' in New York City on March 13, 2011. Mr. Willey and Ms. Eakes have been part of the benefit since the very first production in celebration of 'All My Children's' 35th anniversary show. Cameron Mathison had previously been announced as host but is now unable to travel to New York due to a scheduling conflict.
