Philadelphia Theatre Company is ready to get back in the ring with its third edition of an inventive fundraiser that puts the region's leaders front and center on stage.

Philadelphia Theatre Company returns to the fun gala format it created last season. Instead of standard speeches and silent auctions, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre will become the home of Play Brawl!, the PTC fundraiser that showcases prominent local business leaders and media figures living out their acting dreams alongside professional actors on the PTC stage. Audience members can then vote with their tax-free donations through a mobile bidding app to help declare a winner. In the vein of Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, this fun event takes the stage Friday, May 10 at 6 p.m at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad Street). Thousands of cat-lovers and friends will be laughing aloud in Uptown Oakland on Saturday, May 10, as the internet's funniest cat videos are projected onto The Great Wall's 100'x100' urban canvas. The premiere of the highly-acclaimed and brand new #catvidfest curated by The Walker Art Center culminates the second annual Save a Kitten at OakCatVidFest, a day full of celebrating all things cats.

Central Garden & Pet brands, AvoDerm Natural Pet Foods and Nylabone, are teaming up with Major League Baseball teams starting this Spring on a campaign to promote the powerful bonds between people and their pets. The centerpiece of the program is a series of Bark at the Park Presented by AvoDerm and Nylabone events at major league stadiums where dogs can join their families in the fun and excitement of a baseball game. Fans will be able to purchase tickets for themselves and their dogs, join in a pre-game pup rally and even march around the field in a pre-game parade. On average, about 500-600 dogs and their families at each game will participate in these extremely popular events. The season-long program will include in-store messaging at Petco and local independent retailers, public service announcements, national PR and media, charitable fundraising and direct engagement with fans at ballparks across the country.

Broadway actor Bryan Batt, perhaps most recognized for his role on AMC's Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe award-winning 'Mad Men,' will perform at Theatre Aspen's Spring Benefit this Saturday, February 21st at the Hotel Jerome.
